Historical residence obtained from the refurbishment of an ancient monastery, once owned by the monks of Cluny. Now it is a beautiful holiday home 1 km from Provaglio d'Iseo (Brescia). The accommodation is inside a wine farm in the heart of Franciacorta, on the shores of the ancient peat- bogs on Iseo Lake. The bathing beaches of the lake are about 10 km away.

 

The accommodation is composed of 4 suites, each with a bathroom and kitchen with pine ceilings. All the rooms are on the first floor accessible via an outdoor staircase. On the ground floor, there are some closed rooms sometimes used for tasting or for events. The property is particularly suitable for weddings, ceremonies, and events.  Guests will be offered a night tour along the wine road or in the territory of Franciacorta or a visit to wine cellars. Possibility to get dining service upon request. The particular position inside a large farm offers a unique landscape characterised by vineyards and historical architecture. The guest feels comfortable here.

 

This region is worth visiting throughout the seasons: in autumn it is rich in festivals. In this period we recommend tasting polenta with roasted meat in the typical restaurants. For walking enthusiasts, do not miss the path on the Monte Provaglio until the cross, where you can admire a breathtaking view over the surrounding landscape. This is the ideal starting point to discover the green area of Franciacorta, an area for its wines. We recommend visiting the Monastery of San Piero in Lamosa and the Natural Reserve "Torbiere del Sebino". Only 14 km away there is Lake Iseo and the Valle del Freddo. Only 1000 m approximately from Provaglio D'Iseo.
