In the true heart of Rome, discover a 17th-century villa rebuilt in the 18th century, originally serving as the hunting lodge of the noble Guidi family. From 1748, this area became known as “Giardino Guidi.” Today, it houses a 1-Michelin-starred restaurant offering classic Italian cuisine on a picturesque outdoor terrace with unparalleled views of the Colosseum.
The 40-seat restaurant is at once intimate and grandiose — ideal for romantic dinners, private parties, or special celebrations. Chef Di Lorio, a native of Rome, has led the kitchen since 2010, crafting a menu that combines his mastery of traditional Italian cooking with a flair for fresh, sustainable ingredients. A passionate supporter of responsible seafood, he has removed all tuna from the menu, creating inventive starters featuring lesser-known species alongside meat dishes and local produce. His main courses celebrate pasta in five unique varieties, highlighting the very best of Italian culinary tradition.
For your stay, we have selected a splendid suite that embodies monumental lightness. Sumptuous in its openness and freedom, this multi-level space uses mirrors to multiply views of the Colosseum and the Appian Hill gardens, creating an almost infinite sense of light and perspective. Colours, finishes, and fabrics are inspired by the translucence of Roman light, while delicate tones compliment contemporary design masterpieces by Ingo Maurer, Van Egmond, Philippe Starck, and Antonio Citterio.
The suite flows seamlessly from the lounge to the king-sized bed, and from the bathroom with steam room, shower, and chromotherapy, to the wellness area with a mini-gym and whirlpool bath. Sophisticated and vibrant transitions define each space, creating an experience of true luxury. A selection of other suites is also available, many offering equally spectacular views.
