We meet up in the afternoon at our hotel in Rome and pick up the rental bikes. Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Rome; included meals: D.

Day 2: 190 km
Let’s introduce you to Latium that, you might not know, is the region where Rome is found and that holds many other interesting treasures besides the Eternal City. We go on along lake Turano before being swallowed by the astounding underground universe of a beautiful medieval town in Umbria. Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Rieti; included meals: B, D.

Day 3: 220 km
Today’s tour is set in the green and delightful Apennine mountains, between Mount Terminillo and Lake Campotosto, in the natural park of the Gran Sasso in Abruzzo. An enchanting route in a timeless atmosphere amid absolutely charming hamlets dating from the Middle Ages and farming sceneries, skirting the area that suffered the 2016 earthquakes (Norcia, Amatrice). After a ride along the northern side of it we’ll arrive in Loreto Aprutino, a jewel embedded between the Gran Sasso massif and the Adriatic sea.  Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Loreto Aprutino; included meals: B, D.
