The Results section of scientific papers is third in the sequence. This section follows the Methods and Materials presentation and is presented before Discussion. However, the Results and Discussion sections are often presented together in journals. This section addresses the fundamental question, "What did your research reveal?" The Results section should contain the results of your study, and only the results of your study. These findings are: ● Data presented in tables and graphs, charts, graphs, or other figures may be included in the text, or placed on separate pages at the end of the manuscript. ● This data is explained in sentence form by a contextual analysis. ● All data that corresponds with the central research question. ● All secondary findings (secondary results, subgroup analyses etc.) If your study has a broad scope, or you have studied many variables, or the method yields many different results, the author should only present the results that are relevant to the research question.
