Day 1: MILAN: Arrival at Milan Malpensa airport and private transfer to the hotel in Milan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: MILAN: After breakfast, meet your guide for the visit of Milan and its main sights. Milan is one of the top fashion cities in the world but you will find out that there is much more to see and discover in this trendy, urban metropolis. This vibrant city is home to an incredible cultural heritage. Among the main sights and museums of the city worth mentioning, you will be able to visit the stunning Dome, the nearby Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II, the Sforzesco Castle, the famous La Scala Theatre, as well as the Brera Art Gallery, the Ambrosian Art Gallery and the well-known painting by Leonardo Da Vinci “The Last Supper”. Afternoon, time at leisure for your personal visit. At around 6.00 pm enjoy your aperitif on the rooftop Galleria. In the Aperitif rooftop Galleria, you can choose between three different types of aperitif and locations- The Pavarotti Museum Restaurant; the Enoteca Duomo 21, or the Duomo21 Terrace,
Day 3: MILAN: After breakfast, meet your personal shopper and depart for a shopping trip along the most exclusive streets of the city. As Milan is the city of fashion, there are lots of different places where you can shop, especially if you are looking for high-street brand names. The main shopping areas include Via Montenapoleone (with flagship boutiques such as Gucci, Versace, Fratelli Rossetti, Prada, and Cartier etc), Via della Spiga (including such names as D&G, Sergio Rossi, Tod’s, and Bulgari, amongst others), Via Sant’Andrea (with exclusive boutiques, like Chanel, Armani, Moschino, and Kenzo, Via Manzoni, Via Borgospesso and Via Santo Spirito. The elegant Via Manzoni houses Spazio Armani at no. 31. This is the Giorgio Armani multi-concept store where you can admire the Emporio Armani showrooms, “Armani Casa”, and “Armani Fiori”. You can also have an aperitif at the Emporio Armani Café or spend an evening at the restaurant Nobu, with a dinner prepared by the best Japanese chef to emerge in the last 10 years: Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, who opened this chain of restaurants together with Robert de Niro. At the end of the shopping tour come back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: MILAN: After breakfast, departure for your cooking class in Milan: a different cooking school in a typical Milanese house. Learn Italian cooking, dine and socialise. Classes are held in English by Aurora, the house owner, and a certified cook. We will meet at around 10.00 am for a drink and snacks to chat about the daily menu and to get to know each other. We will cook four recipes from all over the Italian regions. After 2,5 hours of teamwork, we will have lunch to eat our masterpieces with good Italian wine or beer. During lunch, Aurora will tell you the origin and history of the different recipes and will discuss the day's wine choice. We will finish lunch with a good espresso coffee, your cooking diploma and a gift to remember this special day. In the afternoon, get a fantastic break from sightseeing to taste Italian wines (with food) especially selected by our sommelier with a wine tasting in Milan. Milan is a very chic setting for this type of tour and is home to some of the trendiest bars, wine shops, restaurants, and gastro pubs. During the wine tasting in a relaxed wine bar atmosphere located in the heart of Milan, you will learn the A, B, C’s of wine appreciation and leave with some knowledge about Italian wines to share with your friends back home! At the end of the tour, dinner at the famous Cracco Restaurant, Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: MILAN – LAKE COMO – MILAN: After breakfast, departure for a full day private excursion to Lake Como. Guided visit of Como's historical centre and to other picturesque villages. Lunch in a typical restaurant where you will get to savour a fish menu. In the afternoon tour on the lake by private boat to admire the most famous Villas: Villa Olmo, Villa Erba, Villa d’Este etc. At the end of the visit, come back to Milan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: MILAN – MENDRISIO – MILAN: After breakfast, time at leisure before departing at around 12:00 pm for a visit to the Fox Town Outlet in Mendrisio (Switzerland). Free time for shopping until 7:00 pm. Transfer back to Milan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: MILAN: After breakfast, private transfer to Milan airport. Arrivederci!
