An Exclusive Tour Of Sardinia

Arrival and departure from OLBIA only and from Saturday to Saturday
This tour can also be arranged on a bespoke basis


 
01 - DAY 
Arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Day at your disposal. Overnight.

 
02 - DAY Costa Smeralda/Baja Sardinia/Arzachena
Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting with your Guide/Driver. Departure in the morning for the visit of the famous Costa Smeralda. The first stop will be Porto Rotondo and San Pantaleo. Drive to the archaeological area of Arzachena for a visit of “Tomba dei Giganti”, a wonderful site of ancient origin, dating to 2500 B.C. If time is available there is the possibility of visiting a Wine cellar and tasting some wines (extra cost). After Lunch time, visit the renowned area of Porto Cervo with its beautiful Stella Maris Church. Further to Cala di Volpe and the Capriccioli beach.
Back to the Hotel. Overnight stay.

 
03 - DAY Nuoro/Orgosolo/Cagliari. After breakfast, departure to the centre of Sardinia. Arrival in Nuoro and visit the town.  Transfer to Orgosolo and a walk through Orgosolo; it is possible to admire the famous “murales”.  Possibility to enjoy a typical Sardinian lunch with meat dishes (sausage, typical “porchetta”, “carasau” bread, cheese, wine – Extra cost).
After lunch, transfer to Cagliari, Accommodation at the hotel and overnight stay.

 
04 - DAY Cagliari
Breakfast and departure to Barumini and a visit of Sardinia’s most important Nuraghe complex: Su Nuraxi. After a visit, back to Cagliari and visit the town with its beautiful historical centre. Dinner and overnight stay.

 
05 - DAY Oristano/Bosa/Alghero
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure to Cabras for a visit of Tharros, the Punic-Roman town. Departure to Bosa, dominated by the Castello dei Malaspina. The pastel-coloured houses of Bosa lie on the right bank of the Temo river, the only navigable river in Sardinia. This fascinating town is famous for its artisan traditions of gold-filigree jewellery and lace-making. If time is available, there is the possibility to visit a wine cellar and taste the famous Malvasia-Wine (extra cost).
Drive to Alghero along a wonderful coastal road. Check-in and overnight stay.

 
06 - DAY Alghero.
Breakfast. Full day dedicated to visiting the town: the historical centre, the church of “San Francesco”, the cathedral, the Bousquet promenade. There is also the possibility for an optional excursion to the Caves of Neptune by boat from the port of Alghero. In the afternoon time at your disposal. Overnight stay.


07 - DAY Alghero/Castelsardo/Costa Smeralda/Olbia. Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Castelsardo, a nice town on the northern coast of the island, about 70 km from Alghero. The town is set on a promontory overlooking the sea, famous for the production of Sardinian handicraft and one of the most popular tourist areas in North Sardinia. After a visit of the historical centre departure to Olbia. Photo stop at Capo Testa.  Overnigh stay.
 
08 - DAY Olbia.
After breakfast. Transfer for departure. End of services.
