MAGICAL

Families have the option to opt for either a B&B facility or self catering cottages which are located just below the castle which is your backdrop. The very large Fattoria now contains eight charming apartments and 14 bedrooms B&B, furnished with original pieces. The ground floor of the farm house opens onto the main terrace, which overlooks the swimming pool. On the ground floor, there is a large “taverna” with brick vaulted ceilings. The space is divided into three main areas: dining room, billiard room, ping-pong room, plus a large kitchen available for all the guests and equipped for cooking courses. There is something to do here and the only problem you may encounter will be deciding which activity to try first. Apart from the sightseeing you may wish to simply relax or perhaps you would like an exciting adventure? Join the 4×4 cross country excursions or rent a boat and travel to the islands of the beautiful Lake Bolsena. If you enjoy mountain biking, it is possible to rent out bicycles daily for you to explore the region independently. How about a tour of the estate on horseback?

APULIAN DELIGHT

A typical house of the area which is made up of a main building and a large guest house. The interiors are welcoming, charming, elegant and well-groomed. The manor farm is only a few kilometres from Valle d'Itria and from the beautiful Adriatic seaside. Ostuni, the "white town", is at just 5 km from the house. With a pool, private garden and riding school is available in the vicinity. Guests also have access to rooms or independent apartments providing you with a greater choice.

FLORENTINE ESCAPADE

A wonderful estate to the north of Florence and covering an area of over 300 hectares mainly used for growing olives (20.000 olive trees on 110 hectares). Accommodation is offered in the form of apartments located within the estate. Originally they were ancient rustic homesteads and former convent buildings. Recently renovated with particular attention to the architectural style, the apartments are authentic country dwellings in terms of style, peace and panoramic views. During summer, guests can enjoy the lovely swimming pool, located in the gardens of the Fattoria, overlooking a truly matchless view on the surrounding countryside. There is also a nice programme of activities to choose from: the teaching farm, art and restoration class, guided tours of the villa and the oil mill, tastings and discovery tours of Tuscany and also night safari. A great place to stay and you are also within easy distance of Florence and all its offerings.

Bike Tour in Florence

Florence is perfect for biking and this bike tour takes you where the bus tours can’t go, in pedestrian areas and little tiny streets. It will take you less time than any walking tour, showing you roads out of the usual tourist paths, too far to be reached on foot, too tiny for a bus! You will ride through the narrow streets of the main centre and the Oltrarno district, reaching the most amazing monuments of Florence and unknown spots from where to admire the city: Santa Maria Novella, the artisans district, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, Pontevecchio (the old bridge), the Uffizi square, Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, the medieval district, the Duomo, and Piazza della Repubblica. Along this pleasant stroll in Florence, you will stop at several locations for historical explanations and fun facts about the city, and for photo opportunities. Tuscany by Vespa or by Bike

Drive along scenic and silent country roads through the hillside of Tuscany on a Vespa admiring the sights, smells and sounds of the Chianti region! You will be picked up by one of our comfortable, air-conditioned mini-vans protected with car insurance and in just 15 minutes we’ll take you to the countryside, away from the busy city. First you will receive an orientation conducted by an English speaking trained professional, ensuring the safe operation of the Vespa before we head out for our engaging and enjoyable ride. We will drive along quiet and scenic country roads offering splendid views of the rolling hillside and visiting different small medieval villages in the heart of Tuscany and enjoying the most fabulous of the landscapes. Next, we will stop for lunch at a typical Tuscan castle to join a little tasting of some of the most famous Chianti wines, locally produced. We will drive you back to central Florence for about 4.30pm.

A LAKE ATTRACTION

Lake Garda is probably the most beautiful lake in Italy, a Mediterranean oasis in Northern Italy with cypresses, olive groves and lemon trees. The Farmhouse is eight kilometres above the lake and you can reach it via a panoramic dirt road, with a beautiful view over the hillsides sloping down into the water, and it is at just 6 kms from the magnificent garden-villa, Il Vittoriale degli Italiani. With its own restaurant which serves mainly home-made products. In the property you can take part in trekking, even by mountain bike, relax under the sun or taste the farmhouse products. There are two different locations for the rooms: The first one is in the house above the restaurant where there are four bedrooms, all with a view over the garden, wooden floor, writing desk, television and telephone and private bathroom with courtesy set. The second one is an old stone house which dates back to the 1600s with five bedrooms, all large and with private bathroom, wooden floor and a view over the valley. All the rooms have television and telephone and children under the age of two are free of charge and in the vicinity there are options for playing tennis and horse riding.

DELIGHTFULLY TASTEFUL

Typical villa situated at 150 from Lake Maggiore and about 1 kilometre from Lesa. Recently restored, the villa offers three rooms decorated with period furniture which overlooks a terrace. Breakfast is served in a common room which overlooks the garden and within easy reach of the villa there is a swimming pool and golf courses in Stresa and it is also possible to enjoy windsurfing, canoeing and sailing. Facilities include a playground for the children, a pool and children under the age of 2 are free of charge.
